Author Submission Rules
These rules protect authors, readers and Funday Adventures Books.
Original works only
Books submitted through the Author Portal must be your original work. Public-domain books cannot be submitted by authors; public-domain titles may only be submitted or added by Funday Adventures Books.
You must own the rights
You must own the rights required to sell and distribute the book, cover, illustrations, audio and other material you submit.
Rights violations can end access
If you do not have the required or exclusive rights to sell the submitted book, the listing may be removed and your Author Account may be suspended or banned without prior warning after Funday’s review.
No direct publishing
Authors cannot publish their own listings, select homepage placement or use Funday’s Publishing & Product Controls.
Screening and review
Submissions may be screened for duplicate content, possible rights concerns, unsafe content, file problems and other issues. Automated flags assist human review and are not, by themselves, a legal finding.
Physical-book fulfillment
If you sell a physical book, you are responsible for shipping the paid order using the shipping information and label/QR workflow provided in the portal. Physical-book purchases must be paid through PayPal.
Physical returns and refund responsibility
Only physical books use the standard 7-calendar-day return window, measured from USPS delivery confirmation. Physical-book earnings are held until delivery is confirmed and the return period clears. The author/seller is responsible for eligible physical-book returns, refunds, reversals and payment disputes, subject to applicable law and PayPal’s applicable rules.
What happens after submission?
Funday may approve the book, reject it or request changes. Submission does not guarantee publication. If approved, the book publishes into the category selected during submission. Homepage/landing-page placement remains an admin-only decision.
